scouring in the library, searching for a book filled with a little bit of political sense i could read, i spotted a book by ann coulter, one of the new conservative political pundits who have made a career out of touring the country and spewing out her "conservative agenda.i thought that maybe a little bit of research on both sides point of view might enlighten me ont this years political wrestling match.if you thought Al Franken was messed up wait till you read this chick.
I have posted a few comments attributed to her below:
"[Clinton] masturbates in the sinks."---Rivera Live 8/2/99
"God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, 'Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours.'"---Hannity & Colmes, 6/20/01
The "backbone of the Democratic Party" is a "typical fat, implacable welfare recipient"---syndicated column 10/29/99
To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."---MSNBC
"Women like Pamela Harriman and Patricia Duff are basically Anna Nicole Smith from the waist down. Let's just call it for what it is. They're whores."---Salon.com 11/16/00
it seems as if the words politics and sense are aversive to each other.if politics was an individual, then his closest relative would be aptly named nonsense.

out of curiousity,i went to the public library and my college library, looking to peruse through Al Frankens latest book.To my shock and horror, they were all checked out!!!american democracy seems to be in graver danger than i thought if the public has resorted to political education through such partisan mediums.anyaway, there is no real reason for me to fret over the ill health of American democracy since my home country has long since abandoned any pretenses at democracy and seems determined and resolute to become Africa's 1st fascist government.if you dont believe me,spare a moment to peek at the following linkhttp://http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3303253.stm.
as for the rest of us,we have been forced to flee for dear life and become political and economic prostitutes in America.to celebrate it all i have decided to name Al Franken political pundit of the day.he is wise(only his followers are downright stupid) and Robert Mugabe Africa's best statesman(by the way, a poll in found him to be Africa's 3rd best statesmen, although how they came to that belief confounds all reason.)http://http://www.sabcnews.com/africa/southern_africa/0,2172,86076,00.html

finished reading a novel, deception point by Dan Brown.i must say i am an avid Dan Brown fan as i find his fiction writng intellectually stimulating. he has an uncanny ability to fuse shreds of reality with fiction in his work. i must reiterate that they are mere shreds and these are even threadbare .still i think the plot whereby one politician gullibly falls for his intelligence agent's attempt to pull off a grand deception to enable him(the politician) to win the election is one that resonates well with the electorate nowadays. now i have to find to assimmilate that history info i was supposed to have been reading instead of a novel.

i was strolling around in the library at the community college i attend and saw a piece of art that closely resembled the one above.unfortunately my digital camera failed me when its services were most required, but i figured out i should at least show you some artwork of the same spirit.i know that we are approaching election day and in our polarised society, the political rhetoric has reached fever pitch with all sides upping the ante in their bid to make their choice win.however i did think that showcasing this form of art cum political expressionism in the hallways of our educational institutions was going a bit too far.anyway i don't think my words amount to much, especially as they come from a recent immigrant whose native country does not seem to value the ideals of 'western democracy' as they call it.modern atrism
